Greiss is coming off of a $3.33million salary so getting him at a necessarily reduced price may be a bit challenging. Dallas has a ton of cap space to re-sign Khudobin($2.5mm salary last year) and, ask yourself, if you were he, who would you rather backup this year?
I don't know that Korenar is ready to play the necessary amount of games to serve as the backup to Jones to be able to keep him rested enough..The Sharks other Goalies of the Future aren't ready to step in yet...
Next season is most likely going to be a transition year. You have to find a new 2nd line's worth of scoring that didn't materialize last year with the departures of Pavs, Donskoii, and Nyquist; you have to replace a very capable Dillon and either sign Heed for the 3rd pairing or find another quality D man (Prout isn't it) It most likely is Jumbo's last year and we don't know what the cap will be going forward.
All said, Dell is probably your best option for next year...
